CLEANING: Well, there's not much to say on that topic!
Being 100% shed-free, they are naturally resistant to dirt and stains.
You just spilled coffee on it? No problem, as it will most likely bead. Just get a damp cloth and wipe it off. And an occasional light vacuuming will do (try to go with the nap). Just like any carpet, take them outside once in a while for a good shake. It's that easy.
TRIMMING: This cowhide can be trimmed to alter the size and shape by carefully using heavy-duty scissors or utility knife. Ends will not fray and fur will not shed after trimming. (Note: hide cannot be returned if trimmed by purchaser).
WRINKLES AND FOLD MARKS: Wrinkles and fold marks formed during shipping will quickly fade away and will soon disappear completely after the hide is laid on the floor.
